The International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) Technical Committee 7 invites you to the 4th International Workshop on Pattern Recognition in Remote Sensing at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on 20 August 2006. The workshop is sponsored by International Association for Pattern Recognition and IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society.

Held in conjunction with the most important IAPR event, the biennial International Conference on Pattern Recognition, the workshop has established itself as an important event for scientists involved in the combined fields of computer vision and remote sensing.

These two research fields have always been overlapping, but the large volumes of remote sensing data available necessitate advanced algorithms and efficient techniques for automatic analysis. This one-day workshop will be the ideal means to spread and exchange experiences by international researchers.
